All of these things have been instrumental in my professional growth and makes me proud to be part of a culture that is truly inclusive, safe and resilient.”
Over 30 per cent of Hyundai’s team members fall under the youth criteria of the awards and are under the age of 35. Over 90 per cent of the survey participants have agreed with the statement that “people are treated fairly regardless of their age.”
“I am grateful for the immense support system I received at HACC when I first started two years ago as a bilingual Genesis concierge coordinator in the Western Zone Office. Both colleagues and department heads acted as mentors to ease my onboarding as I worked remotely during the pandemic,” says Marcus Preston (29), network development analyst at Genesis Canada. “What has resonated with me to this day and has been instrumental in my success is the level of inclusion, collaboration, and encouragement. More importantly, everyone is heard and is encouraged to share insights into their departments, careers, and cultures with the goal of prompting others to participate in the conversation. HACC is truly a diverse place and exemplifies what a great place to work means though action.”
